- About Me:
- I am a natural birth advocate, a home birther to three great kids, an environmental activist and a successful entrepreneur. Since seeing an inconvenient truth about a year ago I have been impassioned about transforming how I and those around me are being responsible for reversing the damage that has been done to our planet. I wouldn't say that I drive people nuts about it....because that doesn't really make a difference anyway. But I do feel like I set a powerful example not only with my personal choices, but also with the standards that I am setting as an entrepreneur. My business is not inherently "green” (a birth and family wellness center) but we have chosen to be an eco-conscious business by doing a green build out, sustainable operational practices, and housing an eco boutique for families. My business partners and I want to create a space that is so beautiful and innovatively green that families are inspired to make similar choices in their homes as well. We feel that we have a huge opportunity to make a positive impact on the planet well beyond our own space.
